APPLICATION INFORMATION
All applicants must be 16+ at the time of application.Applicants are expected to create one new piece of work for this fanzine. Reusing work that has already been published is not permitted.All applicants must be willing to have and use a discord account, as this will be our primary method of communication for the zine.Plagarism and use of AI in this zine is strictly prohibited. If you are caught using AI to create your piece, you will be removed from the zine.Communication is key! If you need extra time or need to drop out, please let us know as soon as you can! This zine is for fun, but we all need to know what's going on!WRITERSWriters will be asked to submit 2 - 4 of their best works, as well as an optional additional portfolio.Writing will be judged on characterization, cohesion, and technical skill. We ask that at least one of your pieces is centered around Akeshuake.Application submissions should be 1.5 - 3K words in length.
Excerpts of longer pieces are permitted, but they must be able to stand alone.ARTISTSArtists will be asked to submit 2 - 4 of their best works, as well as an optional additional portfolio.Art will be judged on compositon, anatomy, coloring, and rendering.
At least one sample should feature Akeshuake.Digital and traditional art are both allowed, and will be judged following the same perameters.
Comic artists must have at least one example comic in their submitted works.Merch artists must have at least one example of merch they have designed.
